Der Text ist eine ehemalige Klausur, Aufgaben zu einem Auszug aus dem Buch "Beim Leben meiner Schwester". Die Angaben bei diesem Texten waren: betonen Sie die Gründe von Anna für das Beraten Herr Alexander und seine Reaktionen zu ihrem Fall. Auszug:
The main reason for consulting Mr. Alexander are her parents who want Anna to, against her will, donate one of her kidneys to her sister Kate, who is suffering from leukemia.
Anna was born as a spare-parts baby to save her sister's life. That ist he reason why she needed to donate many different things without her parents asking for Anna's permission in the past.
She is angry at her parents for not paying attention to her and scared, that the organ-taking might never stop because of Kate getting sicker and sicker.
Anna hopes for Mr. Alexander's help and legitimate support in stopping her family from taking more organs. She would even take the loss of her sister if that ensures her surviving.
For convincing the lawyer to help her with the case, Anna describes how her family took parts of her body in the past (cord blood as a newborn, lymphocytes at age five for three times, bone marrow, granulocytes and peripheral blood stem cells).
Mr. Alexander's reaction is at first disbelief as he could not understand how Anna's parents took her help for granted while she was just born fort hat reason.
He thinks that Anna did agree to donating because of the past but when Anna explains that her parents never even asked he begins to understand and tries to explains how it is her decision.
