We are German. We drive to work in our Volkswagen everyday at the same time, never too late, after we drank a beer for breakfast. For our perfectly timed Lunch, we eat some sausages and drink a beer, listening to Volksmusik. Coming home late in the evening after a very productive and exhausting day, we arrive at the exactly right time for the weekly soccer match that nobody can miss. You don't think this is funny at all? That is because no one of us got any humour. Sorry, but I am not sorry. That's how we are.
Obviously, we are not that boring, humourless and perfect like you may think. If we really were like that, nobody would visit Germany twice. But, we are all in all very kind and friendly people who also laugh from time to time.
Punctuality might be one of the things that really are true about us, it is a normal thing to meet at the exact agreed time. If someone came too late, it would seem rude but naturally, it happens. Same with the bus or train, it comes always the minute it is expected to arrive, what is very practical for our time management ...
